Hey, Nice Shirt . . .

Hey, Nice Shirt . . .

Yeah, the shirt in the left sucks ! It does! And there are worse than this, a lot of them, awful, tasteless, fashionless, off-the-peg, ill-fitting ones. And many of us are wearing them, sometimes because we don't care, sometimes in hurry and at times our dressing sense is ultra-poor. So what, hey, Nice Shirt . . .

I have realized that the key to success in the corporate world is the ability to find these #niceShirts on the right people at the right time. Now whether these successful people acquire this unparalleled dexterity over a period of time or is it something that comes to them by default, is something beyond my intellectual capacity. As a matter-of-fact, these people are beyond my comprehension. But then these are the future of the country, the future business leaders, CXOs and the heir of #niceShirt tribute by the following batch of success-fools. it’s a legacy of success-fool people , a taste that only a few privileged in the industry has ...

The #niceShirt skill-set is the base class of many such related and derived skills; such as #niceJacket, #niceWatch, #niceShoes, #nicePerfume, #nice@#$%&^, and also the #iLoveYourXXXX and #iLikeYour&^%&* variants.

The aspiring #niceShirt artists, if I may, promptly figure out their target audience in no time as they enter the professional arena. While unskilled peers deprived of this great talent keep breaking their head on hard-work and delivery and other bu**-sh**. The hawkish eyes of this artist and razor-sharp brain identify the right people almost instantly. It can be their immediate supervisor, VP, CXO , Seniors, HR . They know it well. They have it all chalked-out. Who will be useful when... Writing a recommendation, giving a promotion, helping in exponential growth... They know it all, who will be useful when ...

Once the right set of people are identified and synchronized in the snake-memory of these artists, they schedule the batchJob of addressing #niceShirts in a periodic and routine manner. From what I have observed, it is an adaptive and incremental process and these artists also add a lot of variety to it by means of adjectives, adverbs and what-not from their armoury.

So, how about not-so-gifted worker like me!! It’s not that I am against this art, just that I am incompetent :(. Yes, now I think I know who are the right people, Okay, I almost know them :), and I also know the right time [common every time is a right time ! ] but for Christ’s sake I do not find your stinking , oversized, dull shirts and jackets to be nice !!!!! No it’s not a nice shirt . . . and yes I am not going to even look at them ... I know no matter how good I work and how much ever effort i put into my work, I will never be noticed, and will remain just the other guy ... But I can't help it, I am not a success-fool and it's not a nice shirt at all . . .

Interesting thoughts :-)

But a "nice shirt" but itself does not help, it must go hand-in-glove with "appropriate for the occasion", or the "nice shirt" has no effect !

Personally, I don't care too much for "nice shirt" anyway, just too much work to remember...LOL !!
